Kayla Joliat is an artist and educator based in Burlington, Massachusetts. She graduated from
Burlington High School in 2013, and went on to study at the Massachusetts College of Art and
Design. Initially pursuing graphic design, she later transitioned to printmaking, where she
developed a strong interest in print processes, tactility, and mark-making.
Kayla previously worked as a letterpress printer at Goosefish Press in Boston’s South End, where
she gained hands-on experience operating a Chandler & Price press. She is currently in her fifth year as a paraprofessional in Graphic Communications at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School, while continuing to expand her independent studio practice.
